As a firm believer in the values of integrity and transparency in business, I feel compelled to bring to your attention a concerning matter involving our mutual acquaintance, Mr. Steve Papermaster. This narrative is not just an email but a stark illustration of the principles we each uphold in our professional and personal lives.
The Prelude:
In the realm of business, the true measure of a person’s character often emerges under duress. A recent incident involving Mr. Papermaster has shed light on practices that might overshadow genuine business accomplishments and question the ethical framework within which we and especially you may operate.
The Core Email from Steve Papermaster (name removed/replaced to protect the ID of the victim):

I don’t know every detail, but either Mark Smith or people using his name and (creditor)’s name, real or fake ID and alleged real or fake documents and allegations were brought in person to an affiliate office in Abu Dhabi. The security footage is with the authorities there and they will pursue charges accordingly. They also showed a fake news draft document that they said was being posted to Mark Smith’s fake UAE news website saying I had raped two women there. There were threats of personal injury and more. Pure criminal acts and extortion.
Whatever happened there the authorities will sort out. So will the royal family who Mark Smith has defamed and attacked viciously online and often. Same in Saudi. Same for me and my family- children and grandchildren by name. Same for Greg Norman, one of the greatest Australian athletes and entrepreneurs. And EY and many many other parties.
Smith and DC Partners and their affiliates attack the parties above in vicious false, criminal defamation actions daily. It never stops. Theft of digital likeness, image and names. Domain names. Registered domains.
It’s nonstop criminal attacks.
Our entire group has had it and they are united on this and will go to great lengths to hold (creditor) and his entire group and Mark Smith accountable with every criminal and civil means to do so.
The bottom line is that Mark Smith and all of his affiliates and mechanisms has attacked individuals and entities ruthlessly and relentlessly for years. Either (creditor) and whoever else in your group has instructed this to be done, with full knowledge of every detail, or have a psychopath that you are paying and enabling to do so while you turn away and pretend to not know or actually just disregard the actions.
There was a $2m note entered into. It’s never been a personal note or note by any other affiliate than Nano Global Corp. The note was paid in full via a 3rd party that alleging they were with Mark Smith. That was 2022. Now again a payment was set to be made as we agreed and there’s been nothing but daily assaults in multiple ways. It’s the worst criminal business behavior most of our group has ever seen. And don’t think for a minute we don’t have a powerful group. Many Fortune 500 companies as core partners, many large investment firms, many billionaires much more so than (creditor). And the legal authorities in U.S., Canada, Australia, the Middle East.
The transaction is closed. (Lawyer) will continue to work with you if there is a means to do so. Virtually all other Nano Global investors have closed out their shares and/or payments. They have seen what (creditor) and his thug Mark Smith and all others tied into this have done.
My suggestion is to work with (Lawyer) to get done what we set out in good faith to do. Do it right and professionally. Stop the criminal actions immediately and permanently. There is not now nor has there ever been a legal basis for a single actions that has been taken by (creditor), Smith and DC partners. Not even a legal lawsuit if there was a belief that there was a basis for one.
Work with (Lawyer) to close out an agreement. If not then it will be a shame to see our entire group and the authorities of many countries, actively pursue the criminal and civil charges against (creditor) and Mark Smith and affiliates. That will destroy (creditor)’s lifetime of work, wealth, businesses and reputation. This is that serious. It’s hard to imagine why he would possibly risk all of that and direct or condone and pay for this sustained, illegal, criminal assault on so many parties. But the proof is everywhere and cannot be denied or ignored.
I strongly suggest working with (Lawyer) to close this out right away if that’s possible. Cease immediately the criminal acts of Mark Smith. Every day the consequences of these actions are multiplying exponentially, which are squarely on (creditor), Mark Smith and all involved.
And all for a note that was a corporate obligation, was repaid once in full, and for which there has been agreed consideration to stop the criminal attacks and extortion.

We understand through __________ that your side has put pens down in respect to drafting documents on our agreed transaction. The basis for this is that supposedly Mark Smith used force to enter an office in Dubai and made threats to certain parties.
I think you know this is absolutely not true and it is actually impossible as he was on a flight on the day of the alleged incident.
Please let me know if you have any suggestions on how to move this forward.
