Steve's deposition - likely questions?

Steve's deposition - likely questions?

What questions should Steve's insolvency trustee ask Steve when Steve appears for a deposition in Austin Texas on Friday 16 August 2024?

Oh, the day of reckoning for Steve Papermaster is upon us, and his insolvency trustee has got to be chomping at the bit with questions?

Here's what they might ask, in the most tongue-in-cheek manner possible:

  1. Luxury Living: "Steve, old chap, how's the view from your $14.5 million mansion? Does it help you think of new ways to dodge creditors?"
  2. Jet-Setting: "You've been seen more in Abu Dhabi than Austin lately. Are you planning to start a new life as a sheik, or just avoiding your legal woes?"
  3. Financial Acumen: "When you decided to invest in that waterfront property, did you think, 'Hey, this might come in handy if I ever need to sell it to pay off lawsuits?'"
  4. Legal Strategy: "Steve, when you're not in court, do you practice your 'I'm just a simple tech guy' look in the mirror, or does it come naturally?"
  5. Neighborhood Watch: "With neighbors whose homes are only worth $6-7 million, do you feel like you're living in a slum? How do you cope?"

  6. Asset Management: "If you had to liquidate your assets, would you start with the yacht, the private jet, or perhaps your collection of rare, lawsuit-themed art?"
  7. Future Plans: "After this deposition, are you planning to rename your yacht 'The Alimony' or 'The Settlement'?"
  8. Social Calendar: "How do you manage your time between court dates, sheik meet-and-greets, and your regular 'I'm not insolvent' parties?"
  9. Philosophical Inquiry: "Steve, when you look back at your life, do you ever think, 'Maybe I should've just stuck to coding'?"
  10. The Big Question: "If your life was a movie, would it be titled 'The Rise and Fall of Steve Papermaster' or 'Steve's Legal Adventures'?"  Who would you like to play you?  Don Adams?  Mr Bean?  Someone else? ____ submit answers below.
  11. Goobledygook: "Steve, when you're explaining your financial situation, do you ever just throw in some gobbledygook to confuse everyone, or does the legal jargon come naturally?"

Feel free to chime in with your own questions or share any photos of Steve looking particularly contemplative or, you know, just enjoying his not-so-humble abode.
